A few weeks ago, Rick Astley helped me introduce the concept of being committed to being awesome. But there was
one problem in the post: we never discussed what “Social Media Awesomeness” really is, so you know what exactly you are committing yourself to.
So let’s do just that right now.
First, though, let’s address the elephant in [...]

On Monday, I presented a social media plan to a restaurant chain my agency represents in a PR capacity.
I recommended what I thought to be a good mix of outlets and channels to reach their target market, including Facebook.
My client responded, “Why do we need Facebook? What can it give us that our website can’t? [...]

Let’s get some debate going on a Monday morning, why don’t we??
I’ve heard an increasing number of people recently express their disgust with the term “social media guru.”

Anyone who follows the [...]

PR Buzz – Everybody's Watching!
This is an exciting time to work in PR! While traditional media may be having their well-documented troubles (no need to go over them here), the advent of social media has opened up an entire new realm for us to play in!
We Facebook friend reporters, follow celebrities on Twitter and try to be our [...]
