PR Buzz – My Marketing Motto
Everyone has a series of phrases, lines and quotes that drives them, both personally and professionally.
When it comes to promoting, I live by a simple rule:
It is better to beg for forgiveness than to ask for permission
SHHHH!
If you have a restaurant opening up, and you want to hand out flyers, do you ASK people if they would like one, or just put it in their hand?
You can’t undo promotion, and while you may have to do periodic damage control, I’ve found that the initial blast holds more weight.
(That being said, I virtually always follow rules and guidelines…but sometimes, you just gotta get the job done, right?)
