When last we spoke of such things, I was wrapping up an incredible three-year run at iostudio, most recently as the Content Marketing Director.
Now, I am ridiculously thrilled to officially announce that I have joined Hager Sharp as Director, Digital Strategy!
At Hager Sharp, I am building our digital service center, from staff development to client execution and everything in between. This team will work across all agency clients, keying in on our three practice areas: health, education and safety. And, of course, the agency will be a client of ours’, too.
Needless to say, there is a lot of work to be done and we’re hitting the ground running!
Big things are coming soon.
So be sure to visit our website, like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter so you can be in the loop as we discuss the PR/marketing world, along with critical news from our practice areas, too. Some of our Tweets really could save your life!
[Also, make sure to watch the video now on our website about how our company brand was recently refreshed.]
Combine the new job with the other big news, Baby #2, and 2013 is shaping up to be one of the most exciting years for me professionally and personally.
A special mega-thanks goes out to the amazing Shonali Burke. Within seconds of discussing what I was looking for in the next step of my career, she got me in touch with Hager Sharp’s Executive Vice President Debra Silimeo and here I am today.
I’m also quite blessed with a group of people who believe in me, encourage me, motivate me. Of course, my wife, Marisa, and my family. But also: Julia Beck and Robert Mazer, Steve Winter, Keith Kawasaki, Stacey Kane, and so many others.
To make this two-part entry complete, I must finish it the way it began: with a quote from The Muppets.
This time, let’s turn to Gonzo, perfectly describing how I feel just a few weeks into my tenure at Hager Sharp.
“There’s not a word yet, for old friends who’ve just met.”
