One of the most iconic Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies segments ever, “What’s Opera, Doc” features Bugs Bunny vs. Elmer Fudd, inspired by Richard Wagner’s “The Ride of the Valkyries.”
I’d wager to say that the source score is one of the most well-known pieces of music in the world – made even more famous by this 1957 animated short.
Recently, a version of it has been used by WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan as his entrance music. While non-traditional, it is certainly memorable.
