Good morning – it’s Tuesday, October 16, 2012 — Welcome to The Feed!
Set the DVR of the Day: Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to Co-Host Golden Globes
Count me in the minority, but I really liked Ricky Gervais hosting the Globes for the past three years. However, this pairing of tow of the funniest human beings on the planet, has epic potential. Note to award show producers: This is the type of hosting arrangement that gets people buzzing about your show months in advance. Kudos to the Golden Globes.
Question of the Day: Should a Presidential Town Hall Debate Moderator Ask Questions?
With the second Presidential debate set for tonight in a “town hall” setting, there appears to be some sort of brouhaha bubbling over whether or not the moderator – CNN reporter Candy Crowley – should be allowed to ask questions of her own instead of just running the logistics of the event. While this seems like a frivolous topic, it appears both the Romney and Obama campaigns are taking it very seriously.
Slide Deck of the Day: How Customers Are Forcing Businesses To Be More Social by Michael Brito
[Note - this presentation was delivered to the 2012 PRSSA National Conference Monday. I got my hands on the slides!]
Song of the Day: “The Final Countdown” – Europe cover by Melo-M (Latvian cello band)
