Today, May 13, is my birthday.
It’s been an absolutely unreal year, both personally and professionally.
But I will not bore you with pontifications of the past 365 days of my life.
I will, however, ask one thing of you, in honor of my birthday.
This spring, I’m spearheading a fundraising campaign for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, called #TeamNoCancer.
Blood cancers are deeply personal to me, as both my grandfather and my wife’s grandmother battled it.
Leukemia remains the most deadly form of cancer among kids — something I think about every time I look at my two little ones.
We see more and more positive results from research studies and trials for treatments to eradicate this disease and we must keep the momentum going.
So my one birthday wish is for you to donate to #TeamNoCancer. You can do it online, securely, right here.
Every penny goes to LLS. And while I would hope you could chip in more than a penny, every penny does count towards our goal of $18,000 between now and June 14.
Your donation will make this a happy birthday for me…while funding research that will help give other people more birthdays to celebrate, too.
