Huge, awesome news:
I am joining Edelman as a Vice President, focusing on digital corporate reputation.
This is, without a doubt, the most exciting step in my career.
To join this company — and this particular team — is the culmination of everything I’ve worked on for over a decade. I truly believe that every project, every client, every agency, every opportunity, has prepared me for this moment.
Advising companies on how to build and maintain their online reputations has been the core of my professional life, and getting to do just that at the highest level alongside an incredible team is truly a dream come true.
It’s also going to be the greatest challenge of my career. I have no doubt about it – it will be the ultimate test, requiring unparallelled dedication and precision. The margin for error is nonexistent.
I’m humbled by the opportunity and can’t wait to get started.
While I’m beyond thrilled about the future, saying goodbye to Hager Sharp is not easy.
I joined the company a year ago to build their digital practice from the ground-up. And its been quite a year – easily the most rewarding and fulfilling of my career to date.
Examples: We earned an honorable mention in PR Daily’s non-profit digital campaign of the year category. We chaired a major conference on the role of social media analytics in government. We helped government agencies and foundations unlock the power of digital communications by implementing goal-driven strategies, expanding content to include creative elements, and managing their communities.
The company’s digital acumen grew exponentially, as did the team of people working on it. We accomplished a lot in a short period of time.
I look forward to seeing Hager Sharp’s continued success. It is a special company and I’m proud to have been there.
