While #malarkey became a trending topic due to Vice President Joe Biden using the term in last night’s debate with Paul Ryan, the Obama campaign jumped to action by purchasing Twitter ads on that hashtag. We constantly talk about social media being “now,” and this is a tremendous example of that.

This may be the real thing. (Sorry, I couldn’t resist) Global beverage company meets global music service. Coca-Cola has a partnership agreement with Spotify earlier this year, but an investment would assuredly lead to more cross-marketing. Definitely something to keep an eye on.
